Villa Parma has been meticulously refurbished in a contemporary manner using traditional materials retaining its historic links to the past but sympathetically revived for a whole new generation of holidaymakers. Imported Italian fittings and fixtures embrace marble cobblestone tiles, indulgent touches of luxurious fabrics and plush rugs over original polished Baltic pine flooring, upholstered bedheads, luxury kitchen appliances and modish furnishings all complement the Italian-style 19th century property.
The front door of Villa Parma opens onto a grand dining room that features an antique oak dining table complete with French provincial style chairs, overhung by an elegant chandelier. Enhancing the rooms’ ambiance is an original hand painted over-mantel mirror imported from France and lime washed rendered walls with the buildings original finishes proudly retained. Nearby is the butler’s kitchen that has been warmly enhanced with timber joinery, white polished concrete bench tops and the modern amenities for those that wish to self-cater. Forming the heart of the upper floor is a spacious, yet cosy living room with large, deep leather sofas, French styled chairs, lavish rugs and modern entertainment systems.
